Viacraft supports the following editions, versions, and protocols of Minecraft
Java Edition
Java is our server core. Anyone with a java minecraft launcher can join Viacraft.Version 1.19 to latest release. WE NO LONGER SUPPORT CLIENT CONNECTIONS FROM VERSIONS OLDER THAN 1.19!
Viacraft will be terminating connection support for versions below 1.19 as players on older versions will experience game breaking issues like falling through the world. Going forward Viacraft will only allow connections from client (older) versions which are not a major update. i.e. Server version is 1.19.4 but supports anything 1.19 or higher
SAFETY WARNING:
There is an exploit called "Log4j" nicknamed "Log4Shell". This exploit in unpatched java applications allows hackers to do an injection attack (send malicious code) by almost any vector... Messages, server MOTD, commands, etc.
You put yourself at a great security risk to your computer if you are not running the latest version of minecraft and java or at least a patched older version!
Log4j is patched on Viacraft as we run the latest version of both minecraft and java, and constantly update our software/plugins. Additionally, suspicious chat messages get blocked by VIAGuard's chat monitoring system. Because of this, there is little risk to our players by malicious users... BUT THAT DOES NOT GIVE AN EXCUSE TO USE UNPATCHED SOFTWARE as no security system in the world can claim to be 100% secure and flawless. Use caution and common sense!
Bedrock Edition
To join on Bedrock try one of the following methods: METHOD 1:
Add an External Server with IP: us.geyserconnect.net w/ Port: 19132
METHOD 2:
Step 1) Add "Public GC" as a friend.
Step 2) Wait 30-60 seconds for the bot to friend you back,
Step 3) "GeyserConnect Proxy" should popup under joinable friends, click that.
ADVANCED METHODS:

Once you connect to the Geyser proxy server you will be prompted. Click "Custom Server" or "Direct Connect" and type in the IP play.viacraft.net or mc.viacraft.net w/ Port: 25565. IT MUST BE EITHER ONE OF THESE 2 SUBDOMAINS! "viacraft.net" WILL NOT WORK.
Warnings:
-If you do not already own a Java Edition account, you must turn off "Online mode" prior to connecting. Once you are connected to Viacraft you will be required to /register.
-Do NOT attempt to write command /? to chat, it will crash your game!
-If you change your xbox gamertag you will lose access to your /registered account through Bedrock forever! You will then be required to use a cracked launcher to be able to /login with your previous username.
Server-wise, this is not fully supported yet is due to the DDoS proxy firewall used to secure Viacraft from hackers. It is supported at our proxy company but cost a fair bit of money ($100 a month), once we reach a certain monthly donation goal, I will implement full support. Please report issues you are having trying to play Viacraft on Bedrock Edition.
Cracked Minecraft
This is now fully supported. You must use a non-premium/non-Mojang username if you are trying to connect to the server because paid accounts are given priority. Viacraft's authentication system scans incoming names upon login to see if they're already registered with Mojang so they can skip /register and automatically login. We suggest using a strong password and creating 2FA, as we do not undo punishments for claims of stolen accounts.If ViaAuth is flagging your paid Minecraft account as cracked and requesting you to register then type /premium. Alternatively, if you are already registered but then bought your username (registered w/ Mojang), /login as you normally would then type /premium. This will tell ViaAuth the username is now associated with Mojang and is given priority (instant login).
(AS OF UPGRADING TO USE A SEPARATE AUTH SERVER THIS SHOULD BE FULLY PATCHED.) If you are receiving an error stating you're already on the premium list but its requesting you /login, then try one of the following solutions:
Fix 1) Typing /cracked then doing /premium again. This works 90%+ of the time.
Fix 2) Typing /logout then disconnect/reconnect to the server.
Fix 3) If none of the above works than see https://viacraft.net/support.
If you are a cracked user and accidently did /premium and can no longer connect to the server. You will need to contact an Admin to be reset back to cracked.
Viacraft staff will not honor your request to use the name of a Mojang (paid) account by telling ViaAuth that it is "cracked/offline". This is for security reasons and to protect the identity of people who actually paid for Minecraft. As allowing this would create an inconvenience for them. e.g. not being able to join the server, trolling, etc. The only exception to this would be if you were banned by Mojang and can prove legal ownership! Any other exemptions are at the sole discretion of high staff.
