The Director is is basically a Super Administrator and Operations Manager. They are direct assistants to the Owner and oversees all staff. They are responsible for staff applications and the security of personal information.

ADMIN

  • Staff Manager (L2) - Manages the moderators and their respective sub-teams. They make sure all moderation staff are doing their job properly and rules are enforced fairly. They are fully responsible for managing, training, and the actions of our moderation staff. They can hire, promote, demote, and fire moderation staff.

Only the Director and Owner can promote someone to this rank.

» S.Moderator Rank | Operations Staff «
S stands for Specialist or Senior. But could also stand for Superior, Supervisor, or Super depending upon what task they've been assigned.

This rank is the same as Moderator except these people specialize in a specific area of Viacraft. Must be at least an L2 Moderator to qualify but L3 is preferred. This rank is solidly under but equal in spirit/purpose to Admins and can be called Assistants. They are given specific permissions for what they are expected to do as this is a flexible and dynamic rank. The following are possible subtitles, however they may have a mix of titles. This is determined based on the needs of Viacraft and their skill level. (More may be added in the future.):

Investigator (ISR & Integrity)
They have special powers to enforce ALL of Viacraft's TOS/polices and take interest in protecting Viacraft's I.P./assets. Most of their activities are classified and will not be discussed.

Supervisor/Trainer (Safety & Compliance)
This person monitors training and performance for Helpers and helps prepare them for the Uncertified Moderator knowledge test.

Appeals Judge
They oversee and judge punishment appeals.

Community Manager / Ambassador
They help advertise Viacraft, get sponsorships, new players, and drive engagement. They help organize community events. In addition to being a community resource and helper for new members.

  • Discord Manager
The Community Manager also serves as a Discord Manager because Discord plays a crucial role in developing the community and attracting new players. In addition to getting updates to them quickly because its a personal instant messaging platform used by millions.

  • Media Manager
They may also be expected to serve as a Social Media manager; having authority over Media rank applications: vetting YouTube channels and other content creators to determine if they qualify.
What do they have authority over?
  • Events & Giveaways
  • Polls & Voting
  • L2 Moderator
  • Media
  • Discord Moderator (discord exclusive role)

Forums Manager
They specialize in and assist in managing the forums here. Because the forums controls the wiki, important info/links, and is generally more the official administrative side of Viacraft, this person has more overall authority than the Community/Discord Manager but not necessarily more importance. Generally the 2 are expected to work together as equals to ensure synchronization of information and that the forums meets community needs.

What do they have authority over?

  • Appeals Judge
  • Violation Reports
  • L2 Moderator
  • Forums Moderator (website exclusive role)

» Game Enforcement «
This is the enforcement arm of gameplay rules. Because the Viacraft community is public, meaning anybody can join for free: It is necessary to have a group of people who maintain law and order, and assist new members.
MODERATOR
Certified (L3) - A fully decorated peace officer of Viacraft. They have gone through rigorous training, testing, and evaluation by Leadership to earn this position. They have authority to moderate and enforce the Community Guidelines on all our platforms and generally more knowledgeable. It appears as Moderator in-game except if they are a part of a sub-team.

MODERATOR
Enforcer (L2) - Enforces gameplay rules and answer players' questions. Reports to higher ups.

HELPER

  • Trial/Spy (Level 1) - Same as L0 except they try to find cheaters/exploits and report it to higher staff. They are in a training and testing period to prove themselves worthy of becoming a game moderator.

  • Chat (Level 0) - Enforces chat related rules. A new staff member in training; entry-level position. Click here to see how to obtain this rank.

» Non-Enforcement Staff Ranks «
These ranks are for people who deserved to be called staff but do not have moderator powers because their job duties are very different.
Technician (Technical Specialist) (Technological Operations: System Admins and Software Developers)
Similar to Developer on other servers. Creates plugins and other software for Viacraft and help find bugs. Explains errors and other highly technical information.

Builder
These people create structures, dungeons, and maps for Viacraft's production/development plans. Depending upon the size of the team and needs of Viacraft, an S-Mod may be appointed to act as Build Manager.

» Partnership & VIP Ranks «
Sponsor
While rarely seen or heard of, this is a legendary rank given to the highest/top donator on our store and very special persons. The only other way someone can obtain this rank is staff honorable discharge at the rank of Manager or higher.

Partner
This is an individual we have a unique professional relationship with. Someone at the rank of Media can get promoted to this rank if certain conditions are met. This rank is similar to Sponsor in that, it is given to popular content creators (Minecraft celebrities) that are dedicated to Viacraft.

Media
This is an individual who makes professional content on the server, such as a YouTuber. Click here to see how to obtain this rank.
